CSLD test documentation

Find Continuous Statistical Leak Detection results for a Location, filter them by tank and date, and export the returned test records. Use the labels and controls described below to complete this workflow in the current TankActive web app.

Where are CSLD records stored?

Open a Location and select CSLD tests under Reports & history. The CSLD Results page contains Continuous Statistical Leak Detection records TankActive received for that Location from its automatic tank gauge (ATG). For an explanation of the monitoring method and its limits, read CSLD explained; this article focuses on finding and preserving the product record.

CSLD Results is separate from Monthly Leak Tests. Use the CSLD page when you need individual results and their reported factors. Use Leak test compliance when you need the month-by-month view organized by tank and year.

How do I search for a result?

If the page displays No CSLD Reports Found, TankActive did not return a matching record for that selection. Recheck the tank and date range. Do not treat an empty result as a passing test or proof that no documentation is required.

  1. 1Open the required Location and select CSLD tests.
  2. 2Choose the Tank whose records you want to review.
  3. 3Enter Start Date and End Date for the required period.
  4. 4Select Search.
  5. 5Confirm the Location, tank, and date range shown with the results before exporting them.

What details are included?

Each returned record can include Date, Status, Avg Volume, Total Recs, Accepted Recs, Comp Leak Rate, Raw Leak Rate, Total Time, Feedback Factor, Accepted Factor, Dispersion Factor, Throughput, and Rejects. The compact screen emphasizes status, leak rates, records, and factors; the export preserves the fuller row.

Status and measurement values should be read as the recorded CSLD result. TankActive does not convert that status into a guarantee of regulatory acceptance. If a value is unexpected, compare it with the source ATG record and have the responsible technician or compliance professional interpret it.

How do I export and use the documentation?

When results are available, select Export PDF for a formatted document or Export CSV for row-level data. The file follows the current Location, tank, and date range. TankActive does not expose an Excel workbook export on this page, although the CSV can be opened in common spreadsheet software.

Retain the file with the Location and reporting-period context required by your organization. Whether a CSLD record satisfies a particular submission, inspection, or retention rule depends on the jurisdiction and facility. Confirm those requirements outside the product. Contact TankActive support if a record you expect from the connected ATG is missing or cannot be exported.
